Philadelphia Latisse Treatment | Bryn Mawr Grow Longer Thicker Eyelashes

Latisse® | Bryn Mawr | Philadelphia | Main Line, PA

Nonsurgical Cosmetics

LATISSE® solution is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker. Eyelash hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes. Latisse is manufactured by Allergan - the makers of BOTOX®Juvederm and SkinMedica skin care line. Our patients and our staff have experienced amazing results with Latisse. Eyelash growth does not occur overnight. LATISSE® is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways: first, it increases the length of this phase; and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase. The exact way it works is unknown. LATISSE® users may see results at 8 weeks with full results at 12 to 16 weeks. The growth is gradual, overnight, over time.

A testimony from a Latisse patient: "You will be amazed with the results with Latisse! My eyelashes were non-existent and now my lashes are so long and heavy that it is literally too long and bothersome for me. I used Latisse everyday for 2 months (8 weeks) and now only use it three times a week to maintain my length and thickness but not to grow it any longer. People have noticed the change with my eyelashes and I have made a believer out of a lot of my friends who are now using Latisse because of me." - Kate K., Harleysville, PA The most common side effects after using Latisse are eye itching or eye redness. These were reported about 4% of patients in the clinical trials. Latisse solution may cause other less common side effects, which typically occur on the skin close to where Latisse is applied, or in the eyes. These include skin darkening(which our office staff likes due to its eye liner effect), eye irritation, dryness, or redness of the eyelids. Dr. John Lee is also a leader in BOTOX® in the Pennsylvania area. Please contact our office to schedule your appointment today.
