Dr. Joseph Castelli has been performing cosmetic injections for over a decade. He was introduced to the aesthetic field by Dr. Lee, a close friend. He performs the same micro-dot Botox injection technique as Dr. Lee and also the advanced filler injection technique using the micro-cannula. Dr. Castelli’s detailed eyes and his emphasis on safety while having a keen aesthetic eye is why Dr. Lee pursued him to join him. This is also why Dr. Lee allows only Dr. Castelli to perform his botox and filler treatments.
Dr. Castelli began his aesthetic career by treating his loyal base of thousands of female patients for the past ten years and decided to head our Lux Skin Lasers team to dedicate more of his time to the aesthetic field which he finds extremely rewarding. He especially enjoys performing filler treatments due to the “instant gratification that he sees when seeing the outcome of his work”. To Dr. Castelli, filler injection is his creative outlet and loves how he can sculpt and create with a needle. His favorite treatments are lip and cheek filler treatments. He loves how a single syringe of filler can make a face look revitalized and refreshed.
Dr. Castelli was born in Bryn Mawr Hospital and has lived on the Main Line all of his life. He is married to Tracy and the couple has three daughters. Although he has little time that does not include caring for his patients and spending time with his family, he does find time to serve with a Christian medical team to bring medical care to the poor and needy in Nepal.
