Asian Crease (Double Eyelid) Surgery and Epicanthoplasty was performed to achieve desired results. This patient had noticeable eye asymmetry along with very narrow eyes with thick eyelids skin. There are numerous factors that is causing her asymmetry- 1) lower right brow 2) shorter epicanthus (inner corner) 3) right brow bone sits lower which causes her eyes to be smaller. ***the brow impacts greatly on the height and shape of the crease created so noticeable brow asymmetry will cause the crease to appear smaller or larger depending on the brow height. The patient elected to have only the double eyelids and epicanthoplasty procedure only WITHOUT the brow procedure. This is the reason why her right crease is slightly lower then her left. (Post op photo was taken 1 month after surgery; her epicanthoplasty scar is still visible and took 3-4 months to improve). Approximate Procedure Time: 2.5 Hours.
