Restylane

Restylane is more appropriate for fine sculpting because it holds its shape better and does not swell like Juvederm. Restylane is a harder product that Juvederm and is better for fine sculpting.Dr. Lee uses Restylane often to improve the appearance of the tear trough or lower eyelid areas that can start to look sunken and tired. Filler injections for lower lids should only be performed by highly experienced injectors since lower eyelids skin is very thin and any imperfection is very noticeable. This area is one of the most difficult injection site and can result in lumpiness and puffiness that will worsen the appearance of the lower lids.

 

Juvederm

Juvederm can be used to create more fullness because it swells up under the skin. It is most suitable for areas that need overall volume such as the nasal labial folds(the parenthesis area near the nose and mouth), the lips and cheeks of patients.
